In Support of Those Living With MS
Be Fearless. Challenge yourself. Step outside your comfort zone a little. And make a difference.
The fourth annual Wild West MS Walkabout promises to be the best one yet. Many of walkers and volunteers are returning giving up additional experience, energy and excitement! We walk to support those who live with multiple sclerosis -- raising funds to fight MS, increase public awareness and promote health and fitness. As one of our walkers or volunteers, you will make a life-changing journey and help bring us closer to a cure! In the last three years the Walkabout has raised over one quarter of a million dollars to fund research and programs to find a cure for MS and to support people living with MS. In addition to our support of the National MS Society, Colorado Chapter, this year we added the Rocky Mountain MS Center to our beneficiary list allowing us to help an even greater number of people. To date, the Wild West MS Walkabout has provided grants to 54 people living with MS for necessary medical equipment, therapy services and supplies to increase their quality of life through the CNS Foundation.
When you walk with us, we'll support you every step of the way -- before, during and after the Walkabout. Your body will ache, your feet will hurt and you will be hot and tired. Just when you think you won't be able to take another step, someone will say "thank you." It might be a fellow walker who has MS, a volunteer, or someone along side the trail who has a family member with MS. You will feel instantly recharged and know that you can make it! Visit the Support section of our website for an array of training and fundraising tips.
