Greetings!
Spring greetings from the Walkabout Steering
Committee. We hope you're well and beginning to
ramp up your training and fundraising activities. We're
working hard on the route and already have lots of
sponsors in place so you can be confident that the
costs associated with the Walkabout are underwritten
and 100% of the money you raise will go directly to
support those who live with MS. Please visit the
sponsor page on our website so you
can see who
they are.

A Message From Dr. Jim
|
|
Howdy Gang! Dr. Jim here! I hope this
note finds
you all well. I'm even more excited about
this years'
Walkabout because my wife will be walking in
it. I
can't wait to see all of your stinky feet
again! Another
big boost is that our podiatrist Dr. Robert's
wife will be
walking so Dr. Robert is in it for the
duration as well.
If any one knows of any loose medical
supplies let me
know. Between Dr. Robert's and my clinics we
should
be well stocked! And to anyone who volunteered
medically last year - we could always use the
help.
Contact Maureen Stockover if you can volunteer.
Sounds like we'll have more walkers than last
year so
the medical team will be busier. For all the
new
walkers, WELCOME AND THANK YOU!!! This event is
truly one of passion and fun, we will ALL
have a great
time and you've got one of the world's
greatest doctors
there to help should anything go wrong! OK,
so I may
not be world famous but I did stay at a
Holiday Inn
Express last night! As the walk approaches more
medical and training information will be
headed your
way. I'm really looking forward to seeing
all of you this
August!
All the best, Dr. Jim
